For those of you who followed my prospects ranking from October/11, you will notice some small changes. Unfortunately with so many injuries in the 2012 Prospect Draft class it has been much more difficult to read each players development in comparrision to each other. This list is not a mock ranking as to where they will be selected but my personal ranking in terms of talent that is available at that ranking. In my next blog on the players, I will break down the season's development of each of the top 15 on my list.

Honourable mention that did not rank in the top 15 in my ranking are..
Jacob Trouba
Radek Faksa
Slater Koekkoek
Malcolm Subban

  1. Jacob Trouba should be at least a top 7 pick...and Ebert at 12? Really?......

  2. While I appreciate your opinion on Trouba and Ebert, tell me who would you move back to have those two rated higher?

With so many good players coming available these two will be required to perform with consistancy and at the same time as other players performances improve over the season, it will require they continue to rise in their decision making and in their on ice results. Of course I am not just referring to points but plus/minus, PK time , PP time, TOI. Are they the player their team relies heavily on?

Both players IMO have taken a step back since the season opened. Does not mean they are a bad player, just some good talent in front of them.

Write down your top 15 and show me who you would move out of what I have listed.
